Week 2
So the good news for this week is the aforementioned drop in my blood pressure, and as of this morning a 1% loss of body fat, and a corresponding 1% gain in lean muscle mass.
The bad news is that I think I tore my plantar fascia in my right foot, which means no hiking for 6 weeks or so. So I’ll be leaning on cycling, yoga, and body-weight exercises.
Still no side-effects, and my appetite for food and booze is severely muted. I’m starting to get used to eating when my body tells me to rather than, “it’s dinnertime”. And I’m laughing about the smaller portions that are doing the job.
I honestly wish I’d been tracking my food expenditures for a few months before starting, because I’m definitely spending far less on food.
